Our client client is looking for a Expert Cognos TM1 in the center of Madrid
There is a vacancy for a TM1 Process Analyst, based in the company’s Finance Competency Centre. The Finance Competency Centre is an internal IT department that is responsible for the roll-out, day-to-day support and on-going development of all global Finance systems, including TM1.

The role will involve a mix of operational support of the system, further enhancement to the already-productive country implementations and involvement, as a technical TM1 project resource, in future project implementations.

 

Responsibilities

·         Governance and Maintenance of the TM1 Environment

o        Architectural Governance

§         Ensure the logical structure and operation of the application meet the functional requirements

§         Define and maintain development standards

§         Design and maintainbest practice procedures

§         Governance and application of Global templates

§         Architectural input to future rollout proposals

§         Creation of a system schema and the documentation for the global

·         Landscape Management

§         Design and management of the ETL processes

§         Develop the ETL technical architecture

§         Determine the optimum approach for obtaining data from various sources

§         Establish and enforce technical standards

§         Liaise with other partner IT teams to optimise the ETL landscape

·         Operational Support

o        Incident Management

§         The management, to agreed internal SLAs, of defects or ‘request for information’ incidents. This can involve liaison with or the co-ordination of other IT support teams to assist with solutions.

o        Change Management

§         The delivery of enhancements or additional functionality to the productive TM1 system. Full responsibility for the change request through the entire lifecycle.

§         The maintenance of up-to-date documentation about the global TM1 model.

o        Platform Maintenance

§         TM1 software upgrades.

§         Application of TM1 fix packs.

§         Migrating TM1 models between environments.

 

 

 

·         Project Roll-Out

o        Acting as a technical TM1 expert on implementation projects, responsibilities could include:

§         The gathering of requirements

§         The definition of technical solutions (with reference to existing models in other previously implemented entities).

§         The build and evolution of a prototype with the user representatives.

§         Specification of test scripts

§         Technical deployment
